What is Timed Trap?
Timed Trap is a real life escape game. You have 60 minutes to break out of a locked room.
Who can play?
Games are suitable for anyone. Groups of friends, students, work colleagues or family. Children can play too, but we would recommend over age 12 and they must be accompanied by a playing adult. Games are also great for team building events and we can arrange competitions between groups. We also accommodate birthday parties, stag and hen parties, or customised bookings.
How many people can play?
Serial Killer and Treasure Theft can accommodate a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 6. The Great Escape requires a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 6.
What happens if I get trapped in after 60 minutes?
Each game gets a limited number of hints and clues to make sure you enjoy your experience. If you fail to break out, our staff will let you out. You’re welcome to come back and try again.
How can I book to play?
You can book online via our website. Once you select an available time slot you will have 20 minutes to complete the payment in order to secure the booking.
What if I am running late?
This is a live escape game and we have back to back bookings so you need to attend 15 minutes before your chosen time. In the event of a delay, please notify the Timed Trap team immediately. We will rearrange your booking for another convenient time. If there is availability on the day, we may allow you to attend later than your allocated time.
Can I cancel my booking?
Once the booking is confirmed, we cannot accept any cancellations, or give any refunds. However you can reschedule the game for another time by giving us at least 7 day’s notice. To reschedule, please contact us by email to email@example.com.
Can I bring alcohol into the rooms?
No alcohol is allowed on the premises. If any team member is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, they will be turned away, and no refund will be provided.
What skills do I need to play?
Each game varies, but in order to succeed the room will test your problem solving skills. There will be logic puzzles, observational tasks, and occasionally physical challenges. No prior knowledge will be required to avoid being trapped in. On average 50% of groups successfully escape.
Will I be claustrophobic?
No, all our rooms are a reasonable size and should not make you feel claustrophobic. There is always one door open incase you need to use it.
Is there parking available?
Yes, we have plenty of free onsite parking available directly outside the building.
Can I take photos or videos inside the room?
Please DO NOT take pictures or videos inside the room. Also, please do not reveal any of the tricks, puzzles and clues to the public. It will spoil the game for others who wish to attempt an escape.
What happens if there is an emergency during the game?
All rooms have emergency exit buttons, so you can get out at any time if you feel the need. You will be closely watched by our staff through CCTV to ensure your safety at all times.
What if I have a Corporate Team Building enquiry?
Please contact us for any Corporate Event requests, as we can make special personalised arrangements to suit your needs.
Is it possible to access the rooms using a wheelchair?
We are sorry that the game rooms are on the upper level, and at the moment we don’t have a facility for wheelchair access to the upper level. We are hoping to provide this in due course and will update once available.
When should I arrive?
Please ensure all your group arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot. This allows time for briefing before the game starts.
